Day 24 – A song that you want to play at your funeral

I’m ashamed to say that there was a (rather long) time in my life where I gave this issue a lot of thought. Not just the song, but the clothes I would wear, who I would leave my few possessions to, whether I wanted to buried or cremated. It was not a happy time for me, and I’ve returned to that place since then but I am glad to say that I can approach this right now with the hope that I will have graduation songs, wedding songs, kids songs and a whole host of other songs before this one plays. So I will share two: my original funeral song that I wanted in that dark time and a song I wouldn’t mind too much now. (Although it should be said that my aunt Valerie does it the best with the demand that on the day of her funeral we mnust dance after the coffin to Amy Winehouse’s version of Valerie đŸ˜€ )
