So, my About Me page is pretty music centred. But then, I’m pretty music centred. However, I do occasionally have other stuff in my life.

First off, I just came off a Gap Year. Which is a fancy way of saying medical school dropout. There is an ongoing joke amongst my friends that I left a real degree with the intention of doing Liberal Arts. Ironically, I suppose, I am starting my journey to a new career in September – as a nurse. Yes, I left med school to become a nurse.

I also teach. Not in a real class or anything, but I give grinds in music, temp the occasional piano lesson and teach literacy and numeracy for a few hours a week. All whilst prepping for my Teaching Diploma in Singing. I am quite the busy bee, as you can see. But I adore education. In a way, my mini-episode was a blessing in disguise. A confirmation, if you will, of what I truly love.

The last thing I do to fill my many hours is exercise. I am addicted to the runner’s high and run 4 days a week. I hate shopping except in sports stores or searching online for some or other yoga product. Yoga is my other love – saving my life one asana at a time. I also do some weights in between – getting in touch with my burly side ;)

My final passion is food. Food and I have a love/hate relationship – that is, I hate how much I love it. I have experience of everything to do with food, from extensive baking to a questionable binge/restrict history to a shameless adoration for food blogs.

So this is what my blog is. Music. Work. Fitness. Food. All the issues and confessions in between.
